Launch has established a proven track record of success in supporting tech-based start-ups in Northwest Ohio. Launch has been hosted by the Regional Growth Partnership since 2006, and is funded by the Ohio Department of Development Edison Program as an Edison Technology Incubator.
Over the past year Launch has assisted 20 early-stage Northwest Ohio companies in reaching critical milestones through the development of business plans, marketing analysis and research, connections to sources of funding, intellectual property management, and technology validation. The Launch team has also written several awarded grant proposals on behalf of client companies.
Launch has documented over a $25 million economic impact to Northwest Ohio through our client companies’ reported sales revenue, grant income, and investment. Over 100 new jobs have been created, with an average salary of $50,000. This is just the beginning of the total economic impact that will be realized as these companies continue to grow and add wealth in Northwest Ohio.
